Week of December 6th

Language Arts:  This week we will be reading stories that focus on how the Earth's forces affect us. The reading selections for this week are Magnets Work! and I Fall Down.  Both stories are informational text and students will be rereading in order to help them identify the author's purpose.

Math:  We will be finishing up Topic 6, Fluently Subtract within 100.  Students will be taking the assessment on Tuesday, December 7th. We will start Topic 7 Solving Problems Involving Addition and Subtraction. Please continue to work on addition facts with your child at home.
