Week of November 30th

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break. This week we will ease back into the normal curriculum.

Language Arts:  This week we will be reading stories that focus on what we love about animals. The reading selections for this week are reading a variety of poems. 

Math:  We will be starting Topic 6, Fluently Subtract within 100 on Monday.  Please continue to work on addition facts with your child at home.

Science: We will be finishing up our Habitat Unit in Science.  Students have done an amazing job researching their animals for their report. 

Social Studies: We will starting our unit on People Long Ago this week.  Students will be learning about the similiarities and differences from then and now and we will be working on biographies as well.
