Language Arts: This week we will be reading stories that focus on how what we can see in the sky. The reading selections for this week are Starry Night and Mr. Putter and Tabby See the Stars. Both stories are fiction and students will be rereading in order to help them sequence events in a story.
Math: We will be finishing up Topic 7, Solving Problems Involving Addition and Subtraction. I will be sending home the Topic Review on Wednesday, December 15th and the Math Test will be next week.
Social Studies: We have started our unit on People Long Ago. Students will be learning about the similiarities and differences from then and now and we will be working on biographies as well. The Timeline Project is due Friday, December 17th.

December 22nd: Winter Break begins
