Language Arts: This week we will be reading stories that focus on how kids around the world are different. The reading selections for this week are Happy New Year! and Dear Primo. Both reading selections are Realistic Fiction text and this week and will be working on visualization and comparing and contrasting between two stories.
Math:
We will be finishing up TTopic 9: Numbers to 1000. I plan on giving the assessment on Wednesday, February 16th. Topic 9 Assessment Review was sent home last week and it is due on Wednesday.
Social Studies: We will continue traveling around the world and discussing the different cultures and traditions found throughout the countries. We will be learning the names and locations of the continents and oceans. Ask your child to sing you the song we learned!
