Language Arts:This week we will be reading stories that focus on features of different animal habitats. The reading selections for this week are A Prairie Guard Dog and Turtle, Turtle, Watch Out! Both stories are Narrative Nonfiction and students will be making predications and identifying the main topic and key details.
Math:We will continue working on Topic 5, Fluently Subtract within 100, this week. Please remember, I am just showing your child different strategies they can use for subtraction. They will be able to pick the strategy that works best for them, to use on the assessment.
Science: We will be continuing our unit on Interactions of Living things. Students will be learning about the different habitats and how animals adapt to their habitats. This week we will focus on the Forest and Grasslands habitat.

November 23rd: Matilda the Musical. We will walk to the High School
November 24th-26th: Thanksgiving Break! No School!
