Language Arts: This week we will be reading stories that focus on what animals in a story can teach us. The reading selections for this week are The Boy Who Cried Wolf and Wolf! Wolf! Both stories are fables and students will be making predictions and identifying the character, setting and plot of a story.
Math: We will continue working our way through Topic 4 Fluently Add within 100. Students will be learning how to add with partial sums and using models to add 2 digit numbers.
Science: We will be continuing our unit on Interactions of Living things. Students will be learning about the different habitats and how animals adapt to their habitats. This week we will focus on the Swamp and Artic habitat.
